The Character of a Deacon

Last week we studied what it meant to serve as a deacon, but we need to realize that not just anyone can serve. It takes a special calling and a special character to serve as a deacon. Do you have what it takes? Deacon's are called not only to serve, but also to set an example to other believers of how they ought to be serving the Lord. We should be able to model our lives after them. So then, what exactly should a deacon look like? Let's take a look at what the Bible says in 1 Tim. 3:8-13.
